Hal Jackson's Talented Teens International Scholarship Program is a 39 year old scholarship program created by legendary radio broadcaster Mr. Hal Jackson for young ladies 13-17 years of age with a performing talent.  To date this program has provided over $1,000,000 in scholastic awards.  A few notables who have participated in this program are Jada Pinkett Smith, Vanessa Williams, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Doctor Edna Hill and late Michelle Thomas just to name a few. 

Our 2009 HJTTI of Georgia winner is Briyana Guadalupe

Text Box: 12 year old Anais Phillips (center) of Sandy Springs, GA was crown the 2008 winner of EGTYI’s Miss Talented Pre-Teen Scholarship Program and is the winner a $300 Savings Bond.  Anais, left the audience spellbound with her rendition  “Romeo and Juliet”.  Our first runner up (far-right) is a dynamic vocalist from Buford, GA - 11 year old Shelby Hunt who brought the house down with “Somewhere Over the rainbow”.  Both ladies are congratulated by our 2007 Talented Pre-Teen Briyana Guadalupe (far-left).

EGTYI-Talented Pre-Teen Scholarship Program is for young ladies 8 - 12 years of age with a performing talent. Through this program young girls participate in a series seminars which are designed cultivate character, self-esteem and self-confidence through the performing arts. More importantly, this program provides educational scholarship assistance and serves as a bridge for those interested in participating in the Hal Jackson’s Talented Teens Scholarship Program.

(left) 14 year old Briyana Guadalupe of Seyquoya High School in Canton, Georgia won the 2009 Hal Jackson’s Talented Teen International of Georgia Scholarship (picture w/mom) with her dynamic vocal medley, poise and charm. July 11-19 Briyana will travel New York City for 8 days and 7 nights to compete with 30 young ladies from around the world in the 39th Hal Jackson International Scholarship Program.  Briyana also won the academic achievement and the Miss Popularity awards. GA’s  1st place winner is singer, Alexandria Payne of Douglasville
