2006 - Marah Williams

The EGTYI 2006 Miss Talented Pre-Teen  and 1st runner up in the TYDI National Teen Scholarship Program is 12-year-old Marah Williams a singer and actress from Stone Mountain, Georgia.  Marah’s performed an, eloquent and show-stopping rendition of “Born to Entertain”.  MaRah is currently attending Tallulah Falls School as an A Better Chance Scholar.  She has appeared in “The Wiz” (True Colors Theatre Company), Shoulders of Giants (Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation), and The Piano Lesson (Theater in the Square) and Disney’s High School Musical.  She has completed appearances at Lenox Mall for Simon Malls Night of Giving and remains an active member of Pac’s Kids.  Preparation+opportunity=success!

 

 

 

 

The EGTYI 2005 Miss Talented Pre-Teen  and 3 rd runner up in the TYDI National Teen Scholarship Program is 12-year-old Kiara Burroughs a dancer from Hampton, Georgia.  A Standing room only crowd was emotional stirred by Kiara soul stirring inspirational praise dance.  

The EGTYI 2004 Miss Talented Pre-Teen  and Georgia’s first TYDI National Pre-Teen Winner is Alexandria Payne a.k.a. Ale”, from Atlanta, Georgia has performed as a novice and professional singer, dancer, and actor.  Her most recent professional performance was as Glenda the good witch in Director, Kenny Leon’s 2007 Production of “The Wiz” (True Colors Theatre Company).   She also toured with Disney’s Broadway Lion King, Gazelle tour (Young Nala, Baby Elephant), in 2002 and 2003.  Now a student at Tri-Cities Magnet High School  Ale’s theatrical roles include starring in Disney’s Aida (Amneris), and the Westminster School’s production of Ragtime (Sara).  Ale’ is a member of the Elizabeth Baptist Church Young Voices and Spivey Hall Honor Chorus.

The EGTYI first Miss Talented Pre-Teen  is 12-year-old Kedyra Taylor a energetic praise dancer from Decatur, Georgia. 

Our 2007 EGTYI is 12-year-old Briyana Guadalupe a dynamic, singer, actress and dancer from Canton, Georgia.  Briyana captivated the crowd with her wonderful rendition of “I AM Changing”.  This activate 12 year old have performed in many theatre productions and looks forward to a promising career in the music business. School is of great importance to Briyana as she maintains her high A academic average and has been selected to attend the 2008 presidential inauguration.
